NOSOTROS

  • Our Mission

We offer behavior therapy services based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), which has been scientifically proven to be a very effective treatment. Through the ABA principles of reinforcement, extinction and punishment, we use techniques and strategies to promote skills for the autonomy and independence of the person, as well as to reduce or eliminate challenging behaviors that hinder learning, family, school and social coexistence.

We contribute to the harmonious and effective inclusion in the family, school and community environment of children diagnosed with Autism (ASD), Asperger's, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD), Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD), Communication Disorder, Language Disorder, Specific Learning Disorder, as well as any other unspecified neurodevelopmental disorder.

Our practice is based on scientifically derived knowledge, direct observation, data recording and measurement is paramount. We work with the least restrictive and invasive scientific evidence-based methods. Decisions are based on data and direct observation of the infant's behavior.

We are committed to the implementation of an individual intervention plan, involving the family, school and community environment.

We are a serious, responsible, honest and ethically committed professional team to apply ABA strategies and techniques.

Under these standards, we train people as Registered Behavior Technicians™ (RBT®) certified by the BACB, and International Behavior Therapists certified by the IBAO.

  • Our Vision

We are convinced that through ABA behavior therapy, we can contribute to the autonomy and independence of the person. We want them to feel included and be the protagonist of their family and social environment.

In two years we intend to have our ABA Behavior Therapy Center, with professionals from other disciplines such as psychologists, mental health therapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists or speech therapists, among others.

In four years we intend to have a Clinical Center that provides comprehensive medical care starting with primary care, pediatrics, neurology, psychology, psychiatry and behavior therapy ABA, occupational, speech therapist or speech therapist, as well as any other therapy that helps to realize our dream of improving the interpersonal relationships of children with neurodevelopmental disorders within the family, school and community environment.

  • Our Values

Our team is guided by the standards of the BACB Code of Professional Ethics and Ethics for Behavior Analysts and the IBAO Ethical Guidelines. Guided by the basic principles of ethics: do no harm, protect, respect autonomy and confidentiality, benefit others, be fair, be faithful and honest, ensure the dignity of the child, treat others with care and compassion, pursue excellence, accept responsibility for actions.

We ensure the respect and exercise of the rights to effective behavior treatment, the right to a therapeutic environment, the right to services whose goal is the infant's well-being, the right to treatment by a competent behavior analyst, the right to programs that teach functional skills, the right to ongoing behavior assessment, the right to access the most effective procedures, and the right to effective education.

Our policy is to preserve the confidentiality and privacy of the family, therefore, informed consent will be requested prior to initiating any procedure. At all times, we protect the dignity, health and safety of the infant.

We work with a collaborative approach, in which therapists and caregivers work together. Techniques and strategies to achieve the goal are taught, and there is ongoing evaluation to determine the effectiveness of the intervention plan.
